Completion of this class will give you a clear understanding of midwifery & doula work and help you explore your heart connection to this work. You will receive some foundational knowledge of normal pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. You will learn how to talk with families about their birth dreams and create a postpartum plan. You will learn the skills of the Birth Doula through labor support techniques and the Stages of Labor. You learn the ways of the Postpartum Doula and special offerings that are so deeply nourishing to the healing process of birth. You will receive a Doula Certification Card and feel confident in offering your services as a doula.
